Task Order Manager –San Antonio, TX

Provide Task Order Management including overseeing and ensuring deliverables are completed, timelines are met and project tasks are completed to contract standards.

Specific tasks include:

  • Ensure submittal of Task Order Deliverables in accordance with the contract.
  • Communicate, meet and interact with Government Personnel and Client Representatives in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Task Order.
  • Plan and direct Task Order Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing.
  • Manage Task Order employees and subcontractor personnel performance at multiple geographic locations.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate execution of Task Order activities within negotiated time frames.
  • Develop and submit a Monthly Task Order Status Report and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Manage Travel Authorizations and Expense Reports. Review Trip Reports for each Task Order Trip completed.
  • Supports the Program Manager for the contract and other corporate requirements related to Task Orders and company-related business and operations.
  • Oversee all program requirements, including coordinating changes to the task order work, taking all actions necessary to ensure compliance and proper performance of all work assigned, and acquisition of additional or replacement personnel as needed.
  • Provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all task order personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or related discipline with five (5) years of experience in the management of projects or programs of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive and create professional resolutions in adverse situations with minimal guidance or oversight.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and speak fluent English
  • Must be able to pass a Federal background check
