Position Overview
Leading Solutions is seeking a motivated and technically skilled System Administrator to support the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) Mission Simulation Center at Fort Sill, OK. In this role, the successful candidate will help enable realistic, simulation-driven training by ensuring complex systems and networks operate reliably in high-tempo environments.
You will support the integration, operation, and sustainment of simulation platforms including CFFT III and VBS3, from setup and scenario preparation through execution and troubleshooting. Working alongside instructors and operators, you will directly contribute to mission readiness by delivering secure, high-performing simulation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, operate, and maintain immersive simulation systems including CFFT III (AFSM, UTM, CASM) and CFFT2+ environments
- Support the planning and execution of training exercises by preparing simulation environments, loading scenarios, and ensuring system readiness
- Operate and maintain VBS3 simulation systems, including database administration, scenario development, and system troubleshooting
- Provide real-time technical support during training events to ensure uninterrupted execution
- Administer and maintain LAN/WAN networks, enabling connectivity across distributed simulation systems
- Perform system integration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network components
- Manage simulation databases, including design, maintenance, and data integrity for VBS3 environments
- Collaborate with instructors, operators, and leadership to align system capabilities with training objectives
- Apply cybersecurity best practices and maintain systems in compliance with DoD security requirements
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Must have CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
- At least (7) years of military experience in Fire Support operations and planning is preferred.
- Minimum of (1) year of experience supporting training exercise operating the CFFT III and (1) or more years of operating/maintaining an Immersive CFFT III system (AFSM, UTM, CASM)
- Minimum of (3) years of hands-on experience working with local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), linking virtual simulations.
- Minimum of (3) years maintaining immersive simulations (CFFT2+, CFFT III) including system integration, network administration, consulting, analyzing, designing, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment.
- Minimum (1) year experience supporting training exercise and operating the VBS3.
- Minimum (1) year experience in VBS3 database administration and in database design and maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must have a government Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

- Ability to interpret instructions involving multiple abstract and concrete variables.
