Cybersecurity Analyst (RMF) – US Army, Fort Johnson, LA

Specific tasks include:

  • Validate technical standards and security policy for LAN topologies and components; identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Administers Host-Based Security System (HBSS).
  • Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for the functional category.
  • Perform scanning with the Enterprise provided tool and provide non-compliance reports.
  • Provide reports and documentation in support of the submission for the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelors of Arts or Sciences degree in Information Technology or related field or, three (3) years’ of additional experience serving as a network or system administrator in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) years of computer experience in information systems design and management.
  • Three (3) years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems.
  • Two (2) years experience (academic, work, or combination) in NIST / DoD/ Army Cybersecurity / RMF policies, directives, instructions, manuals, HBSS certification/accreditation, and STIG implementation.
  • Must possess CompTia Security+.
  • Must possess a Secret clearance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound skills in written and oral communication is a must.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English

Additional Qualifications:

  • Work may involve long periods of standing/sitting.
  • Typing and keyboarding proficiency required.
  • While performing the duties of this class, employees are regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents.
  • Able to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, vendors, visitors and employees.
  • Able to apply problem-solving techniques.
