Cybersecurity Analyst (RMF) – US Army, Fort Johnson, LA
Specific tasks include:
- Validate technical standards and security policy for LAN topologies and components; identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Administers Host-Based Security System (HBSS).
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for the functional category.
- Perform scanning with the Enterprise provided tool and provide non-compliance reports.
- Provide reports and documentation in support of the submission for the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelors of Arts or Sciences degree in Information Technology or related field or, three (3) years’ of additional experience serving as a network or system administrator in lieu of a degree.
- Five (5) years of computer experience in information systems design and management.
- Three (3) years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems.
- Two (2) years experience (academic, work, or combination) in NIST / DoD/ Army Cybersecurity / RMF policies, directives, instructions, manuals, HBSS certification/accreditation, and STIG implementation.
- Must possess CompTia Security+.
- Must possess a Secret clearance.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound skills in written and oral communication is a must.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
Additional Qualifications:
- Work may involve long periods of standing/sitting.
- Typing and keyboarding proficiency required.
- While performing the duties of this class, employees are regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents.
- Able to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, vendors, visitors and employees.
- Able to apply problem-solving techniques.
