Position Title: Training Specialist
Clearance Required: Secret (or able to obtain)
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area
Rate: $33.00/hour
About the Role:
Leading Solutions, LLC is seeking Training Specialists to support a government client in the Washington, DC Metro Area. If you’re passionate about developing people and delivering impactful training programs that drive performance, we’d love to talk with you.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deliver training using a range of methods—classroom, distance learning, multimedia, simulations, and more.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and recommend tailored training strategies.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials; issue completion certificates at the end of training sessions.
- Support employee skill development to improve productivity and quality of work.
- Respond to corporate and worker service requests; consult with supervisors to align training goals with operational needs.
- In government-supported programs, serve as a case manager—assess client needs and guide them through the training process.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree OR 10 years of related professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a training, facilitation, or instructional design role
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Skills:
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional technologies
- Ability to manage moderately complex tasks with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with eLearning, performance consulting, and blended learning environments
Work Location Note:
This is not a remote position. Personnel must be located within the Washington, DC Metro area and available to attend urgent or emergent meetings in person at Government facilities.
Additional Requirements:
Duties may require sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
Rate: $33.00 per hour
