Position Title: Financial Systems Analyst

Description:
Leading Solutions-LLC is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support our government client in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Measure organizational performance and assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Analyze past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments affecting the organization’s spending.
  • Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
  • Conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
  • Coordinate financial activities with various stakeholders.
  • Manage finances across multiple funding types.
  • Track budgets, costs, and variances.
  • Produce executive summaries and provide detailed reports on financial status.
  • Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.
  • Develop and propose courses of action (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.
  • Interpret and apply financial management principles, processes, techniques, policies, regulations, and organizational strategic goals.

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional, related experience in financial systems analysis or management.

Salary:

  • $43.00 per hour

Physical Requirements:
This job may require:

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or attending virtual meetings.
  • Standing for extended periods during video conferences or meetings.
  • Walking to various areas of the home office or meeting spaces, as needed for collaboration or coordination.
