Position Title: Junior Data Scientist

Description:
Leading Solutions-LLC is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support our government client in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This position offers flexibility with offsite and remote work options. Candidates must be located within the Washington, DC Metro Area and have the ability to attend urgent or emergent requirements or participate in face-to-face meetings at government facilities when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings to inform decision-making and strategic goals.
- Create dynamic data reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
Education:
- At a minimum, an Associate’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of professional experience related to the labor category in lieu of a degree requirement.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in data science, analytics, or a similar field.
Salary:
- $45.00 per hour

This job may require:
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or attending virtual meetings.
- Standing for extended periods during video conferences or meetings.
- Walking to various areas of the home office or meeting spaces, as needed for collaboration or coordination.
