Position Title: Operations Manager

Description:
Leading Solutions-LLC is seeking a Operations Manager to support our government client in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This position is on-site and not remote. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to manage and coordinate branch, plant, or department operations, while performing moderately complex tasks independently and complex tasks with some guidance and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate operation strategies and activities for the assigned department or branch.
  • Assist with the development, review, and implementation of organizational policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Review, analyze, and prepare reports, records, and directives. Confer with managers/supervisors to gather data for planning activities.
  • Assign or delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and ensure policies and objectives are effectively communicated to staff.
  • Organize resources to ensure the effective production of goods and/or services, giving direction, resolving problems, preparing schedules, and setting deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Ensure adequate staff training and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure operational efficiency and economy.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental costs, preparing budgets for effective financial management.

On-site Work Definition:
This position is considered “on-site,” meaning the employee will be required to perform their duties in person at the designated worksite(s) within the Washington, DC Metro area. On-site personnel must be available to respond to urgent or emergent needs at the work location and attend meetings in person, as necessary. The company will not reimburse for travel expenses incurred while commuting to or from the worksite.

Physical Requirements:
This job may require:

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings.
  • Standing for extended periods during site inspections, meetings, or operational oversight.
  • Walking to and from various departments, offices, or areas within the workplace to coordinate activities and ensure operational efficiency.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Salary:

  • $61.00 per hour
