System Support Specialist – Corpus Christi, TX

Clearance Level: Public Trust (SF-85P+PS)
Compensation: $29.06/hour base + $4.93/hour fringe

About the Role
We’re seeking a System Support Specialist in Corpus Christi to support the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas. You’ll handle desktop and network support, resolve user issues, install hardware/software, and deliver training to keep our office mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve help-desk tickets via phone, email, or onsite
  • Set up and maintain PCs, printers, and other peripherals
  • Configure OS and standard applications (word processing, spreadsheets, email)
  • Perform hardware/software diagnostics and coordinate repairs
  • Troubleshoot LAN issues and liaise with network teams
  • Create documentation and lead user training sessions

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven end-user support experience, both remote and onsite
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and PC hardware
  • Strong problem-solving skills in both standalone and networked environments
  • Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Must qualify for SF-85P+PS Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Background in automated litigation-support applications
  • DOJ office automation experience
  • Experience training users on technical topics
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
