Administrative Assistant (Growth Path to Junior Program Manager) – (Kissimmee, FL)
We are a government contracting firm operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment supporting federal programs. We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Administrative Assistant who can manage competing priorities, support program operations, and help keep projects on track.
This role is more than administrative support — it is a structured entry point into program management. High performers will have the opportunity to grow into a Junior Program Manager role based on demonstrated performance and initiative.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and schedule meetings across multiple stakeholders
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and contract milestones
- Maintain organized document repositories and ensure accessibility
- Support preparation and submission of government documentation
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and program administration
- Respond to internal requests and prioritize competing tasks
- Support program managers with operational and administrative needs
- Learn federal contracting processes including proposals, task orders, modifications, and invoicing
Work Environment
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting federal contracts. You will work with high-performing professionals across multiple teams and must be comfortable managing shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving requirements. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of administrative, operations, or coordination experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accountability
Preferred:
- Experience in government contracting or professional services
- Familiarity with federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience supporting program or project management teams
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $25.00/hour (entry level into program management track)
